HPE & NVIDIA launch AI & hybrid cloud programmes for partners
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced a new initiative aimed at enhancing profitability for partners through a series of AI and hybrid cloud programs. Developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, the initiative provides new competencies and additional resources in AI, compute, storage, networking, hybrid cloud, and sustainability, along with enhanced offerings and capabilities in HPE GreenLake.
The newly introduced NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio includes a comprehensive AI partner strategy. The strategy offers AI acceleration and skills development workshops, self-paced NVIDIA certificate programs, and AI solutions competencies, all designed to further enable enterprise partners. These resources are curated on the HPE Tech Pro platform, allowing partners to advance their AI skills and manage full-stack AI solutions integrating HPE and NVIDIA products.
Simon Ewington, Vice President of Worldwide Channel & Partner Ecosystem at HPE, noted, "With these latest advancements, HPE continues to invest in enabling our ecosystem of partners to expand and grow into new profitable revenue streams. This includes equipping partners with the necessary tools and skills to navigate their AI journey and tap into this massive market opportunity."
The program's competencies cover several areas allowing partners to gain expertise in key operations. The HPE Compute competency equips partners to offer the optimal solutions for AI model inferencing using NVIDIA-certified HPE ProLiant GenAI servers. The HPC in the Enterprise competency prepares partners to support advanced enterprise customers, involving the HPE Cray portfolio, for various data-intensive applications. Additionally, the updated HPE Storage and Data Services competency now includes integration with NVIDIA DGX BasePOD and NVIDIA OVX.
HPE Partner Ready Vantage aims to help partners grow annual recurring revenue by providing competencies and Centres of Expertise. A study commissioned with Canalys demonstrated that for every USD $1 invested in HPE solutions, up to USD $4.90 is spent on other products and services through partners. Jesse Chavez, Vice President of Worldwide Partner Programs and Operations at HPE, commented, "The study validates our program's foundation – we recognise the partners' expertise and ability to extend value to their customers via our innovation and the partners' unique services."
Enhanced HPE GreenLake offerings focus on hybrid cloud growth opportunities. New updates include standardised rapid instances of HPE GreenLake to streamline configuration, pricing, and quoting processes. Enhanced HPE GreenLake Flex Solutions now feature OpsRamp hybrid observability and the Sustainability Insight Centre, aiding manageability and sustainability across hybrid environments. Additionally, HPE GreenLake managed service provider workspaces support new integration capabilities, which include support for OpsRamp and HPE GreenLake for Compute Ops Management.
