Mon, 8th Sep 2025

Hisense has been recognised with nine honours at the IFA Innovation Awards 2025 for its products in home entertainment, smart appliances, and design.

IFA Innovation Awards recognition

The L9Q Laser TV received the Best in Home Entertainment award and was recognised for delivering a theatre-grade, immersive experience in the home. The product features an ultra-short throw design and vivid colour reproduction aiming to replicate a cinematic environment.

Hisense's achievements in large-panel technology were acknowledged with the 116-inch UXQ RGB-MiniLED TV, labelled as the world's largest in its class, which was named an honouree. This TV uses advanced backlight architecture to provide ultra-bright performance designed to enhance big-screen immersion. Two further honourees in the display category included the 136-inch MXQUV and the Rollable Laser TV, reflecting the company's commitment to next-generation display solutions.

The awards extended beyond displays. In home appliances, the U8 Series S Pro Split Air Conditioner was selected as an IFA Home Appliances Honouree due to its features such as smart motion detection, improved airflow control, and integrated sterilisation to support cleaner, comfortable living spaces. Also, the Hisense 5i heat pump washer-dryer was honoured in the Tech for Good Social Impact category for its status as the first three-inverter front-loading combo in the industry with AAAA energy efficiency, offering what the company describes as fast and sustainable wash-dry performance.

Design accolades were also received, with the VIDDA AI Audio Glasses winning Best in Design. These glasses combine wearable technology and AI functionality. The X-Zone Master and S7 Dishwasher were recognised as Design Honourees. The S7 Dishwasher uses AI washing technology and an ergonomic build aimed at providing intuitive cleaning and convenience for daily use.

A spokesperson described the significance of this achievement, noting: "These nine awards demonstrate how Hisense brings 'AI Your Life' to reality, delivering innovation that makes smarter, inspired living possible worldwide."

FIFA World Cup partnership

In other announcements, Hisense confirmed it will continue its partnership as an Official Sponsor of the FIFA World Cup, marking its third consecutive sponsorship cycle. Hisense has maintained a collaboration with FIFA since 2018, strengthening its visibility through branding presence, technology cooperation in content and video operations, and its forthcoming involvement in the 2026 event.

Catherine Fang, Vice President of Hisense Group, stated: "Every unforgettable moment starts with the right experience, and that Hisense aims to help fans fully enjoy those moments. She explained that, guided by four key essentials - technology driven, users oriented, smart service, and cultural values - Hisense continuously pushes display boundaries, from HDR to Laser TV and latest RGB-MiniLED, delivering unprecedented picture quality. The user-oriented approach ensures immersive, personalised experiences, making fans feel part of every moment."

Romy Gai, Chief Business Officer at FIFA, commented that FIFA would work with Hisense to deliver advanced display technologies for the 2026 World Cup. He said: "FIFA would partner with Hisense to welcome the best display technology in order to deliver an unprecedented World Cup for billions of fans around the world."

The 2026 tournament is set to be the first World Cup hosted across three nations, featuring 48 teams. Hisense has outlined plans to make advanced display technology available to consumers to enhance live viewing experiences for fans globally.

'AI Your Life' theme at IFA 2025

Hisense used the IFA 2025 event to present four key focus areas for its AI-powered product strategy: AI Your Vision, AI Your Cinema, AI Your Home, and AI Your Air. Among the products shown were the upgraded 116-inch RGB-MiniLED TV, the TriChroma Laser Cinema L9Q, and the PureFlat smart refrigerator featuring a 21-inch interactive hub for meal planning, streaming, and AI-generated art. These devices use the ConnectLife AI Agent to support household management and efficiency.

Hisense's U8 S Pro Air Conditioner was highlighted for its use of AI, including HI-SENSOR presence detection, AI-powered voice assistants, and Hi-NANO ion purification, providing adaptable climate control throughout the day.

The company's product showcases at IFA 2025 focused on integrating AI to anticipate and respond to user needs, combining new display, home appliance, and climate solutions to support personalised and interactive experiences in home environments.
