FourKites unveils 2025 Premier Carrier List for supply chains

Mon, 1st Sep 2025

FourKites has released its global Premier Carrier List (PCL) for the first half of 2025, recognising carriers worldwide that have demonstrated superior tracking performance across all modes of transport.

The Premier Carrier List aims to showcase carriers in Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region that consistently provide high-quality visibility and service to their customers. These organisations are noted for reducing manual check calls, minimising dwell time, streamlining workflows between carrier and shipper, and enabling shippers to respond more effectively to operational changes and disruptions.

Industry perspective

"Real-time visibility has become table stakes for carriers who want to win and retain business," said Priya Rajagopalan, President, Product, Technology and Operations at FourKites. "We're honored to recognise these Premier Carriers who provide actionable insights that drive better decision-making across the supply chain and strengthen partnerships with their customers.

Carriers included on the list have reported measurable benefits from their investment in real-time visibility solutions. Aman Tamana, President of Tamana Truck Lines, emphasised the importance of visibility to his company, stating, "Having this status of being on the FourKites Premier Carrier List shows customers we are not just saying it, but proving it."

For Vine Line Logistics, Premier Carrier designation plays a role in business development as well as operations. Steve Lyons, Executive Director of Sales & Marketing, commented, "Premier Carrier status not only validates our commitment to operational excellence, but also helps us stand out in competitive bids and attract new business opportunities. Our customers often share that the consistency of our tracking and communication gives them confidence to entrust us with their most critical freight. A trust we take seriously every day."

Recognition for logistics providers

The PCL also acknowledges the contributions of third-party logistics providers. Claus Sigmund, Key Account Manager at JCL Logistics Benelux, said, "At JCL Logistics Benelux, we are committed to making logistics smarter, safer and more sustainable. Our inclusion in the prestigious FourKites Premier Carrier List is a testament to this ambition. This global recognition is awarded to carriers and 3PLs who lead the way in real-time supply chain visibility, reliability and digital collaboration."

According to data provided by FourKites, carriers who have maintained Premier status for two or more consecutive periods have experienced an average volume growth of 22% every six months. This suggests that sustained performance and visibility can translate to tangible business expansion over time.

How the list is used

The full Premier Carrier List is publicly available for shippers, who can search by carrier capabilities, transport modes, service geographies and other relevant criteria. The listing also highlights those carriers registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's SmartWay programme, supporting the sustainability initiatives of companies aiming to enhance their supply chain practices.

The PCL forms part of FourKites' broader focus on using technology to facilitate collaboration, automation, and proactive management in supply chains, as it processes over 3.2 million supply chain events daily for more than 1,600 global brands. The company reports that actionable supply chain visibility is increasingly seen as fundamental for business continuity and operational agility in a competitive market environment.
