Fastly brings on first ever head of channel and partnerships for ANZ region
Fastly has appointed Alan Chan as the company's first head of channel and partnership for Australia and New Zealand.
Based in Sydney, Chan will be responsible for further developing the Fastly channel in line with the company's growth strategies across Australia and New Zealand, the company states.
At the same time, he will be responsible for growing mutually successful relationships between Fastly and its network alliance partners, managed service providers, and systems integrators.
This aims to help them sell, deploy and service Fastly's global edge cloud network which enables customers to rapidly create and secure reliable digital experiences.
Chan joins Fastly with more than 20 years experience of working in the enterprise IT and cybersecurity industry across business development, client account management, sales engineering and technical support.
Most recently at Trustwave, a Singtel Optus subsidiary, Chan contributed to the organisation's double digit revenue growth annually during his four-year tenure.
Playing an integral part of the company's success in Australia, Chan supported the business in closing some of its largest managed security and consulting services deals and was responsible for securing the largest product deal in the company's history.
Chan previously worked at Unisys as director of business development security where he grew the cybersecurity business from ground up defining and executing the go to market strategy.
He has also held enterprise account management roles at FireEye, Symantec, Websense, and McAfee.
