Exabeam partners with Wiz to boost cloud security detection

Today

Exabeam has announced a partnership with Wiz to enhance cloud security threat detection capabilities.

Exabeam and Wiz are collaborating to combine AI-powered analytics with cloud security insights to boost threat detection, investigation, and response functionalities. This partnership aims to provide organisations with an improved ability to protect their cloud environments from emerging threats. The collaboration leverages Exabeam's New-Scale Security Operations Platform, known for its open architecture that supports numerous product integrations to strengthen both on-premises and cloud security.

Steve Wilson, Chief Product Officer at Exabeam, commented, "As organisations embrace cloud environments, the surge in cyberattacks is unprecedented, and visibility alone is not enough. Exabeam and Wiz are coming together to deliver what has been a missing piece in enterprise security. By uniting cutting-edge cloud security intelligence from Wiz with AI-powered analytics from Exabeam, we are transforming how security teams defend against evolving threats. Together, we're empowering enterprises with the unmatched ability to see and stop attacks before they escalate."

The partnership comes at a time when cloud adoption is on the rise, leading to an increase in potential attack vectors. According to Gartner, by 2027, investigations involving cloud or third-party infrastructure will constitute more than two-thirds of all reported incidents. This trend underscores the necessity for organisations to implement robust, integrated cloud security strategies that offer complete visibility and actionable intelligence across hybrid environments.

The integration allows customers to experience enhanced cloud security insights and streamlined onboarding to the Exabeam New-Scale Platform. By joining Wiz's detailed risk visibility with Exabeam's AI-driven behavioural analytics, security teams are better equipped to identify attack path trends and undertake remediation efforts over time.

Ryan Mednick, Senior Director, Cybersecurity and Trust at Dataminr, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration: "At Dataminr, we're thrilled to see two of our key security partners join forces to elevate our platform's protection. The integration of comprehensive cloud security insights with AI-driven behavioural analytics will not only strengthen our defences but also streamline our security processes, enhancing our ability to safeguard both our data and customers."

The collaboration promises several additional benefits, including comprehensive threat detection which streamlines investigations. By linking Wiz's cloud insights with other security tools, Exabeam's New-Scale Platform provides a unified view for investigations, enabling security teams to efficiently prioritise and address critical threats across various environments.

Another advantage is the rapid and guided cloud security intelligence, facilitated by the pre-configured Wiz tile in the Exabeam platform. This feature accelerates access to Wiz insights and simplifies integration, reducing the time required to secure cloud assets.

Oron Noha, VP of Product Extensibility & Partnerships at Wiz, said, "Our partnership with Exabeam aims to make cloud security more accessible and effective for our customers. By combining our capabilities with advanced threat detection tools from Exabeam, we're giving security teams the ability to see potential risks more clearly and respond faster. This partnership ensures that organisations can better protect their cloud environments without adding complexity to their operations."
