Dynabook launches Portégé X30L-M ultra-light laptop from AUD $2,060

Dynabook has introduced the Portégé X30L-M, an ultra-light laptop targeted at business professionals seeking portability and AI-enabled performance.

The Portégé X30L-M weighs from 890 grams and is intended to offer a lightweight form factor without compromising power, security, or connectivity.

Performance on the Portégé X30L-M is supported by the Intel Core Ultra Series processors and Intel Arc Graphics. According to Dynabook, the device utilises the 28W version of the chipset to provide a 44% performance increase compared to standard 15W processors. The laptop is also designed to sustain this performance while offering extended battery life for users working under mobile conditions.

The device features a 13.3-inch, 16:10 WUXGA display, which Dynabook says is suited for multitasking, presentations, and creative work. There is an optional touchscreen variant for those seeking added input flexibility and direct interaction with applications.

Security has been highlighted by the inclusion of a TPM 2.0 chip, optional fingerprint reader, and facial recognition support via the FHD webcam with IR. These features are intended to safeguard user data, addressing the security needs of corporate and professional users.

Dynabook states that the Portégé X30L-M has been constructed to meet MIL-STD-810H military standards, allowing it to tolerate drops, spills, and bumps associated with frequent travel or on-the-go usage.

The device is shipped with Windows 11 Pro and features integrated AI capabilities, including a dedicated Copilot key. This is intended to prepare the device for evolving business requirements related to AI-driven tasks and workflows.

The Portégé X30L-M offers an extended battery life for all-day use, aiming to deliver uninterrupted connectivity and productivity for users who are away from charging points for extended periods.
