In a crucial business update, global perks and benefits provider Perkbox has revealed the appointment of their new global CEO, Doug Butler. This change at the helm is effective immediately. Butler will be responsible for driving the firm's global growth, innovating the product range, and aiding businesses in offering significant support to their employees.
Butler displays a rich career history spanning over 30 years, where he has held leading positions in various sectors. His expertise spans technology, telecoms and employment engagement, and he has run several successful businesses. His most recent stint was as the CEO of Reward Gateway where, during his leadership, the firm saw remarkable growth and was subsequently acquired by French benefits provider Edenred.
Prior to his role at Reward Gateway, Butler co-founded Colocation services and played dual roles as CFO and President. This venture is affiliated with Latisys, an Infrastructure-as-a-service provider and was later bought by Zayo Group in 2015. At Perkbox, the focus of Butler's efforts will be geared towards scaling the business and addressing the HR and people related challenges that clients face.
Perkbox's main objective is to align businesses with their purpose by offering an unmatched platform for employee perks and benefits. This initiative is meant to help in mitigating the cost of living by availing a wide array of employee discounts globally. It also aims to offer a platform that fosters cultural enhancement through recognition and reward technology solutions. Both Butler and Perkbox are geared towards prioritising these areas.
Currently, Perkbox is engaged with over 200 firms across Australia and about 4,000 globally. Some of its notable clients include CRBE, Muji and Krispy Kreme. The platform is accessible to more than 62,000 workers across Australia.
