Dimension Data, Optus and Telstra big winners at Cisco partner awards
Dimension Data was one of the big winners at the Cisco Partner Insight and Partner Marketing Excellence Awards.
The company took home the Cloud Solution Excellence Partner of the Year Award and the Community Contribution Award, while the company's Lee Stafford took out the Technical Excellence Award.
Dimension Data Learning Solutions was also named Learning Partner of the Year.
The awards, held ahead of Cisco Live, also saw Ingram Micro named Distribution Partner of the Year, while Dicker Data won Best Distributor Marketing Program. Data#3 was named Software Solutions Partner of the Year, with iiNet claiming Smart and Connected Partner of the Year.
The awards recognised 13 Australian partners across innovation, leadership and achievement. Four companies also received Partner Marketing Excellence awards, recognizing innovative and creative marketing programmes 'that delivered outstanding business results in 2014'.
Optus also scored a clutch of awards, taking home Cisco Capital Partner of the Year, Services Partner of the Year and Best Revenue Marketing Program.
Telstra, meanwhile, claimed Vertical Solution Innovation Partner of the Year and Cloud Partner of the Year with Telstra's Chis Losco named Alliance Manager of the Year.
Jason Brouwers, Cisco ANZ director of the Partner Business Group, says partners are, and will continue to be one of Cisco's main priorities 'as they are the heart of our business model'.
