Dell highlights AI & innovation at FY25 Partner Awards in ANZ

Dell Technologies has named the winners of its FY25 Partner Awards for Australia and New Zealand, recognising the achievements of its channel partners in the region.

The FY25 Partner Awards were presented to partners across several categories, including top performers in Australia and New Zealand, innovation, AI innovation, marketing impact, social impact, growth and customer acquisition, infrastructure and client sales excellence, cloud service provision, and global alliances.

Recognition of partners

Intuit Technologies was named the FY25 Top Performer for Australia, while Sempre received the equivalent award for New Zealand. The FY25 Innovation Champion in Australia was ETHAN, and Cyclone Computer Company Limited took the title for New Zealand. Other awardees included ResetData, which won the FY25 AI Innovation award for Australia and New Zealand, and Logicalis, recipient of the FY25 Marketing Impact Award for Australia and New Zealand.

Dicker Data Australia was recognised with the FY25 Social Impact Award for Australia and New Zealand. Stott Hoare and The Laptop Company were awarded for their performance in growth and customer acquisition in Australia and New Zealand respectively. Infront Systems received the FY25 Infrastructure Sales Excellence award for both countries, while Compnow was recognised for Client Sales Excellence. Macquarie Cloud Services was named the Cloud Service Provider Excellence winner in both Australia and New Zealand, and DXC Technology received the Global Alliances Top Performer award.

Focus on AI and transformation

The awards ceremony highlighted the increasing role of artificial intelligence and digital transformation in the business strategies of organisations across sectors. Dell Technologies executives addressed the audience, outlining the significance of partner-driven innovation and the expansion of AI-related opportunities.

Angela Fox, Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, and John Roese, Global Chief Technology Officer and Chief AI Officer at Dell Technologies, spoke about the company's continued commitment to partners. Initiatives such as Partner First for Storage and support for AI-driven innovation were emphasised as key to collaborative growth in the channel ecosystem.

John Roese highlighted the evolving landscape of AI, focusing on actionable strategies that partners could leverage, and the necessity of rethinking infrastructure to respond to future business and technology needs.

Industry perspectives

Adam Etherington, Global Practise Leader for Cybersecurity Research & Advisory at OMDIA, provided an overview of the state of AI adoption in the Australia and New Zealand region. Etherington's insights covered AI maturity across organisations, the associated challenges of security and privacy, and the nature of opportunities being pursued by the partner community to advance digital transformation for their clients.

A panel discussion featured Angela Fox, John Roese, Peter Marrs (President, Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China, Dell Technologies) and Adam Etherington. The discussion addressed trends, challenges, and opportunities presented by the rapid advance of AI, both within Australia and New Zealand and at a global level.
