FYI, this story is more than a year old

Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike has this week announced the winners of its Australia and New Zealand Partner Awards 2020, which recognise channel partners that have demonstrated strong successes in delivering CrowdStrike's suite of security solutions.

The awards take into account partners that meet or exceed revenue targets and create customer relationships through CrowdStrike solutions.

CrowdStrike's channel partner program is called CrowdStrike Elevate, which provides training, support and services which partners need to achieve outstanding results in their particular markets and areas of specialisation.

“We are delighted to honour the efforts of our valued partners across the region.  Through the uncertainty of 2020, our partners have shown resilience and a sustained commitment to helping customers,” says CrowdStrike Australia and New Zealand channel director Luke Francis.

“Together, we have navigated the challenges posed by remote workforces, coordinated and malicious global cyber campaigns and an uptick in eCrime. We applaud our partners for the many critical business functions which they have successfully secured with CrowdStrike during a pandemic.

Winners:

ANZ Partner of the Year Award and Best Enterprise Partner of the Year Award:  Solista

Solista is a Sydney-headquartered company that delivered the most net revenue to CrowdStrike in 2020. The company's cofounder Noel Alnutt has been named a Friend of CrowdStrike and inducted into the CrowdStrike Hall of Fame.

"Partnering together with CrowdStrike has enabled us to deliver a best-in-class technology to our mutual customers, who have had to embrace new ways of working and delivering products and services." These awards are a testament to the Solista team and our clients, who boldly adopt the future of technology and passionately embrace the latest innovations to transform business,” says Alnutt.

Best Corporate Partner Award: Loop Secure

Best Small Medium Business (SMB) Partner Award: InfoTrust

Best Rising Star for 2020: CSO Group

Best Partner Representative of the Year: Airloom general partner Malcolm Salameh

Best Partner Sales Executive: InfoTrust senior security engineer John Aziz.

“Following a year of rapid growth, these awards recognise the contribution of our partners and how integral each of them are to CrowdStrike's continued success in the region. We look forward to accelerating mutual business success in the year ahead and supporting Australian enterprises with their security requirements,” concludes Francis.

CrowdStrike also recently releases its Annual Global Threat Report, which found that cybercriminals are becoming more brazen.

“As such, it's critical to employ comprehensive cloud-native technology for increased visibility and prevention capabilities including threat intelligence and expert threat hunting to stay one step ahead of modern day attacks,” notes CrowdStrike senior vice president of intelligence, Adam Meyers.

“Additionally, today's rapidly changing remote work environment highlights that identity protection is central to the defence of any enterprise's infrastructure. Organisations must take decisive action to control access and protect data in order to outmanoeuvre adversaries.
