ControlUp bolsters global expansion with key new appointments
ControlUp, an industry leader in Digital Employee Experience (DEX) management, is seeking to fortify its global presence, with an amplified focus on international growth spanning Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Asia Pacific/Japan (APJ). This international expansion strategy will be driven under the stewardship of Ben Lancaster, who has been appointed ControlUp's Vice President, International Sales. Simon Townsend has also been added to the team as Global Field CTO.
The global requirement for DEX solutions, which provide real-time visibility and automated remediation, presents a significant growth opportunity for ControlUp. Tom Holland, CRO of ControlUp, expressed optimism on the announcement, "ControlUp is poised to accelerate our go-to-market programs to activate new customers, globally." About Lancaster and Townsend, Holland says, "Each brings years of proven customer adoption success and market share growth and I am thrilled to add them to our passionate sales leadership team."
Ben Lancaster brings with him a rich and diverse sales background with enduring user computing relationships spanning Europe. He transitions to ControlUp from Cloud Software Group (Citrix), where he held the role of Senior Director, Professional Services, Western Europe, amongst other leadership positions. Speaking on the prevailing demand for user-end computing platforms, Lancaster says, "ControlUp is uniquely positioned to deliver on this need with the leading platform to see, analyze, automate, and secure DEX for greater business productivity."
Simon Townsend, a renowned end-user computing technology evangelist and thought leader, joins the ControlUp team from IGEL, where he held the position of Field CTO for EMEA and Chief Marketing Officer. Expressing his excitement on joining ControlUp, Townsend said, "I have long admired the technology and people at ControlUp and now joining the team to help transform their global market penetration is exceptionally satisfying."
These new appointments amp up ControlUp's commitment to expanding its presence in the EMEA market. As a strategic ControlUp partner in the DACH region, Thomas Reger, Business Development Manager at Advanced Digital Network Distribution (ADN), expressed excitement about deeper collaboration and delivery of "world-class DEX solutions".
Brian Davis, Head of Sales for Data Solutions (Group Sales Director), echoed these sentiments, highlighting that "Digital employee experiences are among the top IT priorities for our customers", and that he looked forward to "increased collaboration to expand the ControlUp footprint across our market". ControlUp helps customers achieve real-time visibility and automated remediation, essential for delivering secure and efficient computing experiences.
