Cohesity nabs Veritas exec for chief revenue role

Michael Cremen has been appointed the new role of chief revenue officer for Cohesity.

Cremen will leverage his vast international experience to oversee all sales and partner functions worldwide in his new role. He brings 25 years of experience in data management, working closely with customers and partners to back up, store, and realise value from their data.

“Cohesity is disrupting the data management market and empowering companies to back up, manage, and extract value from their data in a way that is unique in the industry,” says Cremen.

Prior to joining Cohesity, Cremen was senior vice president at Veritas, where he was responsible for sales, management, operations, and the financial performance of the Veritas business in the United States, Latin America, and Canada.

Prior to Veritas, Cremen served as executive vice president of global sales for $4 billion Hitachi Data Systems. Cremen was a member of the company's executive committee and played a key role in the company's pivot to data analytics and the Internet of Things (IoT).
