Claroty names John Ryan to lead global partner ecosystem
Claroty has appointed John Ryan as Vice President of Worldwide Partner Ecosystem, placing a senior channel executive in charge of its global partner programme.
Ryan joins the cyber security company with more than a decade of experience in channel and alliance roles across several security vendors. He will lead Claroty's xCelerate Partner Program, which covers resellers, value-added resellers, managed security service providers, technology alliances and distributors.
The appointment comes as Claroty continues to build its route to market around partners serving industrial and other cyber-physical environments. The company focuses on protecting cyber-physical systems used in sectors that rely on operational technology and connected infrastructure.
In the role, Ryan will oversee development of the partner ecosystem worldwide, with responsibility for expanding and scaling the channel network and supporting the programme's long-term performance.
Before joining Claroty, Ryan was Vice President of EMEA and Worldwide Channel Sales at Radiant Logic, where he built a team and helped deliver record business growth.
His earlier roles include senior channel positions at Orca Security, Illumio, Guardicore, Mendix, Rapid7 and ForeScout Technologies. Those posts spanned global channels, technology alliances, systems integrators and managed service provider sales.
Channel Focus
Claroty is looking to expand its market reach through indirect sales and partner-led delivery. Its xCelerate programme supports partners that sell and support its cyber-physical systems protection platform.
The business is built around organisations that need visibility and protection across operational technology and other connected industrial assets. Its platform is used by hundreds of organisations across thousands of sites worldwide.
That installed base helps explain the importance of the partner role. Vendors focused on industrial cyber security often rely on regional resellers, specialist integrators and service providers to reach customers in manufacturing, energy, healthcare and other infrastructure-heavy sectors.
Ryan will help shape go-to-market execution through that ecosystem. The role is also tied to customer efforts to reduce risk and improve operations across cyber-physical environments.

Sector Experience
Ryan's career has focused on partner-led sales organisations within the security software market. At Orca Security he was SVP of Worldwide Channels and Tech Alliances, while at Illumio he served as VP Worldwide Channel, GSI and MSP/MSSP Sales.
He also worked as AVP of Channels, SIs and Alliances at Guardicore and as Senior Director, Global Alliances & Channel Sales at Mendix. Earlier leadership roles at Rapid7 and ForeScout Technologies added to his experience in building sales relationships across direct and indirect routes.
That breadth of experience is relevant for a vendor selling into cyber-physical security, where buying decisions can involve security teams, operational technology specialists, service providers and strategic advisers. Partner programmes in that market often need to support both product resale and specialist deployment.
Claroty has positioned xCelerate as the framework for those relationships. The programme provides training and enablement for partners and is intended to help them broaden market reach and deepen customer ties.
Industry list placements cited by Claroty also suggest it is seeking to raise its profile among channel partners. Such recognition can matter in recruiting and retaining resellers and service providers, particularly in crowded security markets where vendors compete for partner attention.
