FYI, this story is more than a year old

Tripwire has selected Chillisoft to be the distributor of Tripwire security and compliance products in the Australia and New Zealand market.

Chillisoft will now be in charge of distributing products such as the Tripwire Enterprise suite for file integrity monitoring (FIM) and security configuration management (SCM). Chillisoft will also distribute Tripwire IP360 vulnerability management software and managed services to the ANZ market.

Tripwire and Chillisoft have been working together to develop an active channel in the New Zealand market, as well as forging deals with organisations in the education and law enforcement sectors in Asia Pacific.

Chillisoft chief executive officer Alex Teh says Chillisoft is delighted to extend its relationship with Tripwire in Australia.

“Tripwire is an integral part of our business in Australia and New Zealand.

“Our vision is for Australia to become a strong presales and sales arm, underpinned by a sizeable, cybersecurity-focused distribution force in New Zealand.

“This will ensure Tripwire has the focus and attention it needs to keep developing its Australian business,” Teh concludes.

Tripwire Australia and New Zealand sales director Zak Menegazzi adds that the partnership with Chillisoft made sense to the company based on the size of the team and the need for a value-add partner.

Menegazzi says Chillisoft has the expertise, partnerships and an overall support model in Australia.

“In New Zealand, Chillisoft has performed extremely well in partner and new business development.

Chillisoft says it will have dedicated sales resources for building the Australian channel and develop capabilities for pre-sales presentations and demonstrations within the Australian market.

Chillisoft has also been steadily building a ‘boots on the ground' presence in Australia.

Last year the company recently appointed Australia general manager Patrick Cooper to lead the company's growth in the local market.

Chillisoft plans to expand its entire ANZ team to 25 people by the end of 2021.
