Blackberry targets value added integrators with new partner program

22 Mar 2017

BlackBerry has launched a value added integrator program designed to build a global network of BlackBerry technology experts and provide the vendor with expanded distribution for embedded applications.

John Wall, senior vice president and head of BlackBerry QNX, says the new explosion of unsecured internet of things devices and embedded systems provides ‘tremendous’ opportunity for security and software solutions.

“We are experiencing strong demand for BlackBerry QNX embedded software and Certicom Elliptical Curve Cyptography-based security solutions,” Wall says.

“Our new value-added integrator program will enable us to reach broader markets and expand or channels of distribution for a wider range of embedded applications that demand highly reliable and secure software solutions.”

BlackBerry says the new program enables partners to deliver integration services and build upon BlackBerry’s embedded technologies to design and develop secure, mission-critical solutions, ultimately accelerating product time to market.

The program partners will provide support for technologies and services including QNX Neutrino Realtime OS, QNX Momentics Tool Suite, QNX Hypervisor, Certicom Managed Publick Key Infrastructure and Certicom Asset Management System.
