Barracuda unveils partner engineer community & program updates

Barracuda Networks has introduced the Barracuda Partner Sales Engineer Community and several enhancements to its Partner Success Program aimed at boosting technical expertise and improving business outcomes for its global partners.

This new community offers value-added resellers, managed service providers, distributors, systems integrators, and others access to resources such as training labs, scanning tools, and live product demonstrations. It is intended to help partners deepen their technical knowledge and assist customers in bolstering their cybersecurity measures. Additionally, partners can benefit from exclusive rewards and have the opportunity to collaborate with industry peers.

The enhancements to the Barracuda Partner Success Program include several initiatives to improve the collaborative experience for partners. Amongst these initiatives is the Security Operations Center-as-a-Service feature, now available to all partners through Barracuda Managed XDR. This offers a globally distributed 24/7 SOC for quick threat detection and response, aiding in improving cyber resiliency by reducing the need for multiple security tools or specialised cybersecurity expertise.

Further technical enablement includes new certifications for the Barracuda Managed XDR and updates for other key offerings such as Barracuda Email Protection and Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup. These certifications are designed to aid partners in differentiating their services, expedite sales cycles, and augment operational efficiencies. A new partner demo page has also been introduced to streamline sales efforts.

The program has incorporated new channel automation tools designed to enhance productivity. These include dashboard modules that provide partners with real-time visibility into revenue, certification achievement, renewal pathways, and performance metrics against rebate targets.

Since its introduction in December 2023, the Barracuda Partner Success Program has aimed at ensuring the global success of its partners, providing support and resources tailored to different market routes including managed services, resale, and marketplaces.
