Mon, 3rd Aug 2020
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Microsoft specialist digital solutions consulting firm Barhead Solutions has been named a member of the 2020/2021 Inner Circle for Microsoft business applications.

Membership in this group is based on sales achievements that rank Barhead in the top echelon of Microsoft's business applications global network of partners.

Inner Circle members have performed to a high standard of excellence by delivering valuable solutions that help organisations achieve increased success.

2020/2021 Inner Circle members are invited to the Inner Circle Virtual Summits, taking quarterly between July 2020 and June 2021, where they will have an opportunity to share strategy and network with Microsoft senior leaders and fellow partners.

This recognition of Inner Circle for Microsoft business applications coincided with Microsoft Inspire, the annual partner event, which took place July 20-21, 2020.

“Each year we recognise Microsoft business applications partners from around the world for delivering innovation and driving unsurpassed customer success,” says Microsoft business applications ecosystem lead Cecilia Flombaum.

“Our Inner Circle members are chosen based on their business performance as well as capabilities as an organisation, whether that's creating IP, developing solutions, or having an industry-leading focus on digital transformation. Microsoft is honoured to recognise Barhead for their achievements this past year, their dedication to our customers, and their innovation around the Microsoft Cloud.

"The Barhead team is 100% focused on Microsoft and business applications. That the team's commitment and dedication are again recognised with such a prestigious award is a fitting testament to their efforts and to those of our customers," says Barhead CEO and Co-founder Ken Struthers (pictured above, left).

“The Inner Circle Award further validates our continued investment and Microsoft's recognition of our performance and capability within Business Applications. As a leading Microsoft Partner in Australia we are thankful for Microsoft's continued support and trust in our business and drive to modernise our customers' processes and solutions,” adds Barhead co-founder John Orrock (pictured above, right).

Barhead also won the 2020 Global Partner for Social Impact Award for its work using Power Platform to enable YMCA Victoria to fast-track its JobKeeper applications to meet the government deadline with a two-day turnaround. This meant over 5,000 YMCA Victoria workers' applications were filed in time.

The Partner for Social Impact Award recognises a best in class Microsoft partner who has helped accelerate the digital transformation of non-profit organisations.

The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognises Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions during the past year. Awards were classified in several categories, with honourees chosen from a set of more than 3,300 submitted nominations from more than 100 countries worldwide.
