Avetta strengthens NSW presence with new Sydney & Newcastle offices

Thu, 17th Jul 2025

Avetta, a provider of supply chain risk management (SCRM) software, has bolstered its presence in Australia by investing in new office spaces in Sydney and Newcastle. The move underlines the company's ongoing commitment to local customers and aims to enhance service delivery as part of its global strategy.

The new Sydney office, situated on Pitt Street, opened in May. This location places Avetta's staff in the heart of Sydney's commercial precinct, offering what the company describes as a "convenient and well-connected base for employees and customers alike."

Avetta's Newcastle team is also set to relocate to a newly upgraded space in Honeysuckle, the city's waterfront precinct, with the office due to open in October. The company says the move is designed to build strong local operations and create "modern, collaborative spaces" for both staff and clients.

"These new offices mark an exciting chapter for Avetta in Australia and across APAC," said Luke Boyle, Vice President of Operations, APAC, at Avetta. "Our investment in local infrastructure reflects our commitment to supporting the communities where we operate, and ensuring our teams have the resources to deliver outstanding service to our APAC customers."

Boyle highlighted that the new Sydney office had already become "a hive for collaboration and opportunities to bring better value to our customers." He continued, "All of our team members are eager to be present for networking and engagement, while still enjoying a hybrid work model."

The company's decision to invest in local office infrastructure is closely aligned with its "follow-the-sun" service model. Avetta says this approach ensures that customers across different time zones receive "the highest quality service and support - whenever and wherever they need it."

The expansion comes at a time of sustained growth for Avetta in the Asia-Pacific region, with the company emphasising the importance of proximity to customers and the broader community. The choice of locations in both Sydney's business district and Newcastle's Honeysuckle area is intended to provide accessible environments for both employees and clients.

Avetta's core business centres around a SaaS platform that helps clients manage supply chain risk and supports suppliers in qualifying for jobs. The company offers a network designed to manage supplier safety, sustainability, worker competency and performance. It provides contractor prequalification and worker competency management services across a range of sectors including construction, energy, facilities, manufacturing, mining and telecommunications.

According to the company, its network spans over 120 countries, supporting more than 500 hiring clients, 130,000 contractors and 1.5 million workers. Since its founding in 2003, Avetta has focused on enabling "safe, sustainable and secure" supply chains through technology and local engagement.

The company describes its approach as more than software, focusing on collaboration and community. It highlights "customer delight" as a core value and aims to exceed customer expectations by providing "critical and innovative thinking around new services, products and process improvements."

Leadership at Avetta sees the recent Australian investments as furthering the company's mission to strengthen supply chains and support communities. "Our investment in local infrastructure reflects our commitment to supporting the communities where we operate," Boyle reiterated, pointing to the broader role Avetta seeks to play in fostering both safety and sustainability in global supply chains.

With these new offices, Avetta aims to provide Australian customers with more localised support and to further connect its teams across the Asia-Pacific region, reinforcing its presence in the country and its ongoing strategy of growth through community engagement and service improvement.
