Atturra named Microsoft’s first private cloud partner in Australia
Atturra has been named as the first Microsoft Solutions Partner in Australia to achieve the Private Cloud Solution Partner Designation.
This designation recognises Atturra for meeting Microsoft's highest standards in hybrid and private cloud deployments, an area of growing demand among Australian organisations with critical data sovereignty and compliance obligations across government, defence, education, and enterprise sectors.
To attain the designation, Atturra was required to strengthen its cloud capability through specialist certifications in Windows Server Hybrid Administrator and Azure Database Administration. The company also needed to validate its customer outcomes using independent client satisfaction scores.
In recent years, Atturra has demonstrated year-on-year growth in deployments of Azure Arc, Azure Stack HCI, and Windows Server private cloud solutions, underpinning its reputation for delivering secure, sovereign cloud services.
Market standing
The Private Cloud Solution Partner Designation strengthens Atturra's position in the Australian market. The organisation operates its own private cloud infrastructure nationwide, offering compute, GPU-as-a-service, and secure storage to customers who require their data to remain onshore.
Atturra's approach to hybrid cloud integrates on-premises, private cloud, and Microsoft Azure within a unified architecture, providing clients with flexibility and avoiding vendor lock-in. This recent milestone follows Atturra's previous announcement that its Microsoft practice was among the first in Australia to achieve all six Solution Designations in the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program. These designations include Business Applications, Data & AI (Azure), Digital & App Innovation (Azure), Infrastructure (Azure), Modern Work, and Security.
Each Microsoft Solution Partner Designation is awarded based on rigorous performance, technical skill, and proven client success. The addition of the Private Cloud Solution Partner status reflects Atturra's commitment to meeting these standards for both hybrid and private cloud environments.
