Tue, 1st Apr 2025

Dynabook ANZ has appointed Angela Walker as Managing Director for its Australia and New Zealand operations.

Angela Walker steps into the role after more than 26 years with the company, during which she has held several senior leadership positions. Most recently, she was General Manager for Dynabook ANZ and played a key part in guiding the transition from Toshiba Client Solutions to Dynabook ANZ in 2021.

Her experience in the company covers a range of operational and executive roles, reflecting a longstanding engagement with both the organisation and its presence in the business technology sector within the region.

Ms. Nobuko Musumi, Vice President at Dynabook, commented on the appointment, stating, "Angela's leadership has been instrumental in positioning Dynabook as a trusted partner for businesses across Australia and New Zealand. Her deep understanding of the market, combined with her strategic vision and passion for the brand, makes her the ideal choice to lead Dynabook ANZ into its next phase."

In her new capacity as Managing Director, Walker will focus on accelerating Dynabook's business strategy for the region. Key objectives include expanding engagement with partners and further strengthening brand recognition within the business sector. These efforts aim to maintain and build upon the company's presence and relationships in the local business technology market.

Angela Walker shared her perspective on the appointment, saying, "I'm honoured to step into this role at such an exciting time for Dynabook. Our commitment to delivering reliable, secure and innovative laptops remains at the core of our business. I look forward to collaborating with our talented team and valued channel partners to build on our momentum and continue driving success for our customers."

Dynabook stated that the appointment underlines its approach to fostering leadership development and supporting success within the broader business technology sector. The move is positioned as part of the company's ongoing efforts to reinforce its management structure across Australia and New Zealand.

Based in Sydney, Dynabook ANZ provides a range of business-focused laptop solutions and manages product engineering and manufacturing in its own-operated facilities. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynabook, which in turn is owned by Sharp Corporation of Japan.

Walker's appointment is effective from the beginning of April 2025.
