Advent One appoints Jason Dixon as new CEO, John Twine shifts role
Advent One has announced a leadership transition with the appointment of Jason Dixon as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Dixon replaces John Twine, who steps down as CEO after five years of service. Twine will now take on the role of Non-Executive Director on the Advent One Board.
John Twine initially joined Advent One in 2019 as Sales Director and was elevated to CEO in February 2023. His tenure saw the company achieve significant milestones and sustained growth. "John has done a fantastic job continuing the growth trajectory of the company. His strategic vision and unwavering commitment have been instrumental in positioning Advent One for continued success," said Bob Bassat, Chair and Founder of Advent One.
In his new role as Non-Executive Director, Twine will utilise his experience and industry insights to support the company's strategic initiatives and ensure a smooth leadership transition. He will work closely with Jason Dixon to maintain the momentum in Advent One's growth strategy.
Jason Dixon, who joined Advent One in May this year as Strategy and Transformation Leader, brings extensive experience in driving technology transformation and growth strategies. Prior to joining Advent One, Dixon held leadership roles at prominent organisations such as IBM and Amazon Web Services, where he led large multidisciplinary teams and strategic initiatives within the Financial Services Sector.
Commenting on Dixon's new role, Bob Bassat remarked, "Jason's qualifications and experience make him the ideal candidate to lead Advent One into its next phase of growth. His strategic acumen and deep understanding of our industry will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and expand our service offerings."
Jason Dixon expressed enthusiasm about his appointment, stating, "I am honoured to lead Advent One and build upon the strong foundation established under John's leadership. I look forward to working closely with the Board, our talented team, and our valued clients to drive innovation and deliver exceptional results."
The transition comes as Advent One continues to position itself as a leader in Managed Services, Automation, Cloud, Modern Data Centre, Observability, and Cybersecurity solutions. The company has been providing market-leading expertise across these areas for 25 years, catering to Australian enterprises and mid-market sectors.
Advent One's portfolio includes Consulting & Advisory services, Operations & Managed Services, and Automation & Observability solutions. Their approach aims to help clients get the most out of their technology investments while reducing the demand on IT resources through applied automation, orchestration, and managed services.
With Dixon at the helm, Advent One looks to further its growth and innovation, leveraging his extensive background in both law and technology leadership. The leadership transition is hoped to bring fresh perspectives and sustained growth, ensuring Advent One remains competitive in the evolving IT services landscape.
