VMware ANZ channel chief moves on
VMware Australia and New Zealand channel chief John Donovan has moved on after five years with the company.
VMware Australia and New Zealand confirmed Donovan 'has decided to leave VMware'.
"We thank John for his considerable contributions to VMware during his five years here, and we wish him the best in his next endeavour," a statement from the company says.
Donovan is reportedly heading to a United States based security company and will spearhead their Asia Pacific campaign.
Donovan is no stranger to the security market, having spent 13 years with Symantec, including stints as the security company's Australia and New Zealand managing director, channel sales manager for ANZ and as vice president of channels for Asia Pacific and Japan. No announcement has been made yet about Donovan's replacement at VMware.
Donovan's departure comes as the vendor gears up for vForum in Sydney with the company promising a number of announcements coming out of the conference.
