Neat partners with Bluechip Infotech to expand in Australia

Mon, 19th Aug 2024

Neat, a video technology vendor, has entered into a strategic partnership with Bluechip Infotech, aiming to expand its presence in the Australian market. Bluechip Infotech, a leading Australian provider of visual collaboration solutions and services, will adopt the role of a value-added distributor for Neat's product lineup.

The agreement allows Bluechip to resell Neat products to both enterprise and public sector customers across Australia. This collaboration comes in response to the growing demand for video conferencing solutions, bolstered by the hybrid work model becoming increasingly prevalent.

Jason MacBride, Regional Director for Australia and New Zealand at Neat, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "Neat is committed to delivering exceptional devices and experiences for today’s hybrid workforce. Bluechip complements this by providing the expertise, market presence, and knowledgeable team to ensure first-class support for all our joint partners. This further deepens our vertical focus within key sectors in the government, education, and finance space."

Willy Harsono, Director of Marketing & Alliances at Bluechip, also shared his optimism. "Bluechip is excited about this partnership with Neat. Video technology is a high priority requirement today to support blended and mobile workplaces. Our agreement with Neat fills a gap for us and enables us to deliver the best video experiences for our Zoom and Microsoft Teams partners. We’re looking forward to working with Neat to further penetrate this market in creating exciting hybrid experiences that not only exceed customers’ expectations but also drive business outcomes," he said.

The market for Unified Communications and Collaboration is expected to reach almost USD $500 billion by 2029, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 27.8%, according to a report by Mordor Intelligence. As hybrid work becomes the norm, driven by worker preferences for flexible work arrangements, the demand for reliable and simple video technology solutions is expected to grow.

Neat's product portfolio, known for its simplicity and elegance, will now be accessible to a broader Australian audience, covering small, medium, and large room solutions. Neat plans to showcase its award-winning products, including the Neat Center and Neat Symmetry, at Integrate 2024, an event that will take place from August 21 to 23. The Neat Center, a recipient of the Red Dot Award, leverages artificial intelligence to enhance the connectivity of remote participants by offering a 360-degree meeting experience.

Wayne Mason, Vice President of Global Distribution & Partner Programmes at Neat, commented on the company’s approach to expanding its market reach. "Neat makes it easier than ever for customers to purchase and deploy Neat devices to support their hybrid workplaces. We do this by bringing additional partners into the Neat ecosystem while making it beneficial for them to work with Neat to address the increasing demand for exceptional video capabilities for the hybrid workforce of the future. By providing better support, choice, and flexibility to customers, Neat is accelerating our transition to a far simpler video deployment with a quality automated experience," he noted.

Neat's Global Partner Programme, which already includes over 100 partners worldwide, has now incorporated Bluechip into its portfolio in Australia. The programme offers three tiers of participation, from Neat Pro Partners, who are certified integrators and resellers, to Neat Advanced Pro Partners and Neat Mastery Partners, each providing varying levels of engagement and support.
