MoneyGram Haas F1 & EY partner for Microsoft solution implementation

Tue, 27th Feb 2024

The MoneyGram Haas F1 Team announced its collaboration with EY to implement the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain solution on 21 February 2024. This partnership will see EY provide consulting services to assist Haas in the adoption of advanced system functionality via Microsoft Dynamics.

This endeavour will involve the development and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics using the EY Rapid Foundation service. The service consists of a pre-built Microsoft Dynamics solution equipped with best-practice processes, which should expedite the deployment of the solution.

The newly adopted platform is set to provide Haas with the capacity to access new functionalities with the Microsoft Power Platform. These include the provision for mobile devices to approve transactions whilst on the go, a warehouse mechanism that allows for the barcode tracking of car components throughout the supply chain, and the Microsoft Azure Data Lake's capacity for data storage. The storage features allow for historical, transactional and other data types to be recorded for reporting and analysis purposes.

Speaking on the collaboration, EY Partner in Technology Consulting, Alex Corps, stated, "It is a real privilege to be working with MoneyGram Haas F1 Team and supporting them to solve complex challenges across their finance and supply functions, as well as providing greater agility and flexibility for their staff, whether they are trackside or back at the factory."

Corps also noted that the solution holds potential for future advancements, providing Haas with the means to exploit the unforeseen possible benefits of their data. This data harnessing capacity encompasses technical or performance data utilisation for machine learning and artificial intelligence.

MoneyGram Haas F1 Team Principal Ayao Komatsu expressed his team's excitement at the forthcoming collaboration with EY. He pointed out that the Microsoft Dynamics platform could be a significant development for the team, boosting operational efficiency and enabling the further embrace of advanced technology.

Komatsu added, "We are excited to collaborate with EY as we begin our journey to adopt greater system functionality through Microsoft Dynamics...The expertise of the EY team to help implement the solution, as well as laying the foundation for our future growth and innovation, will help us to achieve our aim of positioning MoneyGram Haas F1 Team at the forefront of technological advancement in the sport."
