Intelliworx, the globally recognised managed services and cloud solutions provider, has announced two strategic executive appointments. Blond with a strategic drive for cybersecurity, the firm has appointed Blake Jeffery as General Manager Australia and Joshua Paulus as Head of Security and Identity in Australia.

Reporting directly to Managing Director Shane Maher, his key responsibilities will include overseeing local strategies and facilitating interdepartmental collaboration. Mr. Jeffery is poised to optimise team performance by managing a diverse team and continue to provide strategic advice where necessary. Alongside these responsibilities, he will be maintaining and strengthening existing relationships with clients whilst also identifying opportunities for new partnerships.

Joshua Paulus, now entrusted with the Head of Security and Identity role in Australia, will direct and coordinate security teams based in Manila and Australia. His role will be pivotal in placing cybersecurity at the centre of operations. With his skills set to aid in achieving cohesive security operations across various locations. Protecting client information, technology assets and overseeing continuous improvement practices will also fall under his new remit.

It is a noteworthy period for Intelliworx as cybersecurity takes centre stage for the first time, meeting a growing demand by their customers. Given the complex operations and workforce requirements their clients face, cybersecurity advice has become more imperative than ever. The executive appointments at Intelliworx signify recognition of this shift, marking the first time a cybersecurity leader has been specifically appointed to oversee all Australian operations due to the indispensable nature of Tier-1 expertise for technology strategy.

These executive appointments follow a trajectory of notable expansion for the global managed services and cloud solutions provider. Recently, a core element of Intelliworx's plans included an announcement of a strategic partnership with Neat, a leading designer of video devices. Aimed at assisting customers in providing an all-encompassing work-from-home experience, the move underlined the complex challenges that require efficient cybersecurity advice.

This expansion trend continued as Intelliworx has also added 15 members to their team with plans to recruit a further 10 by the end of 2024. In his announcement, Managing Director Shane Maher emphasised the high-quality cybersecurity credentials of both Mr Jeffery and Mr Paulus. "Both Blake and Josh have shown extraordinary leadership in their previous roles making security and identity management foundational to our customer service and business continuity plans," said Mr Maher. He demonstrated optimism for the future, expressing excitement at seeing both leaders step into their new roles as the company accelerates expansion with target markets.

These appointments demonstrate the firm's aggressive stride towards ensuring their leadership positions are filled with the most experienced individuals. The move aligns with Intelliworx's commitment to manage cybersecurity risks and provide the best solutions to their clients in a rapidly evolving landscape of technology needs.
