Fujifilm Australia calls for speakers as Creator Summit returns
Fujifilm Australia has announced the return of the Creator Summit for 2026, opening submissions for speakers and partners as it aims to host one of the largest gatherings for content creators in the country.
The Creator Summit is designed to bring together Australia's sizeable community of content creators, estimated at six million people nationally. Following its inaugural event in February, which saw approximately 2,000 attendees at Sydney's Luna Park, the company is seeking to broaden its scope by inviting creative professionals from across the country to participate in next year's programme.
Summit details
The first Creator Summit featured 20 notable creators and delivered 40 diverse sessions over a weekend, drawing attendees from across the creative landscape. According to organisers, the event provided a platform for creators, photographers, and videographers to learn new skills, network with peers, and discuss industry trends.
Building on this foundation, Fujifilm is now seeking speaker, content, and activation submissions for the second edition of the summit. Speaker applications are open until 31 October 2025, while partner and activation submissions close on 15 November 2025. Brand ambassador expressions of interest will be accepted until 30 November 2025. Applicants will be notified within two weeks of these respective deadlines about the outcome of their submissions.
Comments from Fujifilm
Shaun Mah, General Manager, Electronic Imaging & Optical Devices Divisions at Fujifilm Australia, said that the response to the first event exceeded the company's expectations and reinforced the demand for such a platform within the Australian creative industry.
"Creator Summit was born from our mission to give Australia's creator community a platform to learn, connect and celebrate their craft - and the response to our inaugural event blew us away. We're so excited to bring Creator Summit - one of the biggest events in the country for content creators, photographers and videographers alike - back for year two. We encourage any prospective creators and partners alike to apply and be part of a festival that celebrates the joy of visual storytelling, collaboration and creativity at scale."
Programmeme and participation
The summit is expected to cover a broad range of topics relevant to content creators, including visual storytelling, technical skills, business growth, and industry innovation. Fujifilm's approach involves not only masterclasses and panel discussions but also interactive activations and networking opportunities for professionals at all levels of experience.
With content creation becoming an increasingly significant sector in Australia, companies and brands involved in media, technology, and creative services are urged to consider partnership and activation opportunities. Interested participants and partners are required to submit detailed proposals outlining their areas of expertise or potential contributions to the summit programme. All submissions made ahead of the respective deadlines will be evaluated, and applicants will be notified of the outcome within a fortnight of submission close.
Looking forward
By inviting a broad range of contributors for the second Creator Summit, organisers intend to further cultivate a sense of community and shared knowledge. The company's open submission approach aims to welcome both established and emerging voices within Australia's creative sectors.
Last year's event featured a mix of presentations, workshops, and collaborative sessions. Highlights from the event are available for industry members keen to observe the summit's focus and format. Fujifilm has stated that it continues to seek ideas and input from potential speakers and partners to shape an inclusive and comprehensive agenda for 2026.
The initiative comes at a time of accelerating demand for content creation skills, providing a dedicated space for industry participants to exchange best practices, discover new technologies, and foster collaborative projects.
