Fortinet scoops commercial marketplace award at Microsoft partner awards
Fortinet has been named as the winner of Microsoft's 2020 Commercial Marketplace Partner of the Year.
The company says the win underscores its "commitment to enable easy and secure deployment of SaaS, VM or container security solutions" to protect Azure workloads and applications.
Fortinet was honoured among a global field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.
"This award reflects the proven growth and success of Fortinet's offerings on Azure Marketplace as we continue to see significant customer demand," says John Maddison, executive vice president of products and CMO at Fortinet.

The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognise Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions during the past year. Awards were classified in several categories, with honourees chosen from a set of more than 3,300 submitted nominations from more than 100 countries worldwide.

Meanwhile, Ingram Micro Cloud has been named as the winner of the Indirect Provider 2020 Microsoft Partner of the Year Award.
The Indirect Provider Partner of the Year Award recognises partner excellence in transforming the traditional transactional business model into a value-based, solution-provider model that reaches resellers at scale to drive usage, consumption and customer acquisition growth throughout the partner channel.
Ingram Micro Cloud was recognised for providing outstanding solutions and services as an indirect provider partner.
