EnterpriseDB heads to Sydney, chases channel growth in ANZ
Postgres database firm EnterpriseDB is continuing its global growth initiatives with the expansion of its business into the ANZ region.
The company has opened a regional office in Sydney, and appointed Graham Pullen as vice president for sales for the Asia Pacific Japan regions.
As part of EDB's global field leadership team, Pullen will be based in the new Sydney office and is charged with leading strategic growth initiatives and channel development across Asia and India.
"The Asia Pacific and ASEAN regions represent significant opportunity for EDBmas enterprises and governments increasingly adopt Postgres to realise greater efficiency and achieve better business outcomes, while transforming their data centers into platforms of innovation," explains Mike Huseman, senior vice president of global sales and business development at EDB.
Prior to EDB, Pullen held roles at OpenText, including senior vice president of sales, Asia Pacific and senior vice president, global alliances and worldwide channels.
"Organisations recognise that EDB Postgres delivers the tremendous savings and flexibility that open source brought to other layers in the enterprise software stack but with robust, enterprise-class enhancements they need to ensure mission-critical performance and business success," Pullen says.
