Red Hat focuses on AI applications through partners with moves
Red Hat has highlighted the significant role its partner ecosystem, comprising of independent software vendors (ISVs) and global systems integrators (GSIs), is playing in advancing artificial intelligence (AI) applications and services using Red Hat open hybrid cloud technologies. Red Hat partners, armed with deep skills, knowledge and certified workloads, are leveraging platforms such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and the newly launched Red Hat OpenShift AI to facilitate the deployment of key business applications and enable customers to realise transformative AI solutions.
According to Stefanie Chiras, senior vice president of Partner Ecosystem Success at Red Hat, "For many organisations, AI is now a business imperative. As an established catalyst for open-source innovation, Red Hat's partner ecosystem is equipped to bring AI use cases to life for customers across any cloud, data centre or network edge. We are thrilled to see our highly skilled and diverse ecosystem of ISVs and GSIs continuing to rally behind Red Hat platforms to deliver differentiated AI-enabled solutions and services to customers."
In the face of increasing reliance on AI for enhanced service delivery, improved efficiency, and bolstered IT margins, Red Hat's rich ecosystem of supported ISVs and skilled system integrators is uniquely positioned to help customers optimise their IT investments and initiate their AI journeys. For decades, Red Hat's global partner ecosystem has provided crucial applications, managed services, and expert support with transparency and flexibility. Now, ISVs and GSIs are expanding their collaboration with Red Hat to help customers prepare for an AI-centric future.
Application vendors are collaborating with Red Hat to offer solutions that are compatible and supported on Red Hat OpenShift AI, providing streamlined integration and improved performance throughout the AI and machine learning (AI/ML) lifecycle. Furthermore, certified AI/ML partner applications can be natively integrated within Red Hat OpenShift and can also offer complementary or extended abilities on Red Hat OpenShift AI.
Red Hat, expanding the AI-focused features and tools across its portfolio, including Red Hat OpenShift AI and Red Hat Lightspeed, is witnessing its partners rallying behind to deliver AI-ready solutions and services. Global systems integrators are providing managed services and support to propel generative AI (GenAI) workloads across hybrid cloud environments. With this, they are taking the necessary steps to prepare their customers for an AI-centric world.
Kevin Dallas, CEO of EnterpriseDB, commented: "Leveraging Red Hat OpenShift AI with the new EDB Postgres AI platform launching later this month will give customers the ability to seamlessly enable transactional, analytical and AI workloads, from edge to the core. Complemented by Red Hat's renowned AI support, this is a true game-changer as we all move to AI and data-centric business models, where customers are looking to make the most of their data estates through a single pane of glass."
