Eaton appoints Gavin Swadling as A/NZ channel boss

Power management company, Eaton announced the appointment of Gavin Swadling as Power Quality (PQ) national channel manager. 

In his new role, Swadling will be responsible for leading, managing and growing the brand, sales and operations of the Eaton PQ business in A/NZ. 

Reporting to John Atherton, General Manager PQ, Swadling will also focus on enhancing existing and prospective channel relationships at Eaton.

Prior to his current promotion, Swadling held the title of national strategic partnerships and alliances manager, where he played a role in delivering growth strategies for Eaton’s enterprise channel and was also successful in launching Eaton’s Micro Data Centre and industrialised portfolio.

Eaton is a power management company with sales of $20.4 billion. 

They provide energy-efficient solutions that help customers effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power more efficiently, safely and sustainably. 

Eaton has approximately 96,000 employees and sells products to customers in more than 175 countries.

Eaton PQ GM John Atherton says, “Gavin has a proven track record of driving partner engagement and already has significant experience across the channel.

“In his previous role, Gavin has done an outstanding job lifting Eaton’s profile in the channel community as well as in providing guidance, assistance and mentoring to the internal team.”

As part of his new role, Swadling will develop Eaton’s PQ channel vision, strategy and business plan to drive business with its partners.
