CrowdStrike names JAPAC channel partner award winners
CrowdStrike has named the winners of its 2026 Japan and Asia Pacific partner awards, recognising regional partners and individual contributors across the JAPAC channel ecosystem.
The honours were presented at the company's annual JAPAC Partner Symposium in Vietnam, with winners from Australia and New Zealand, Japan, India, South East Asia and North Asia. Australian cyber security firm Sekuro, part of Insight, received the top regional award, while The Missing Link, part of Infosys, was named Australia and New Zealand Partner of the Year.
The awards span partner, regional and individual categories, recognising companies working with CrowdStrike across distribution, managed security services, cloud alliances and broader channel sales. They also reflect a market in which vendors are increasingly relying on partners to sell, deploy and manage security tools.
Alongside Sekuro and The Missing Link, Amazon Web Services Japan was named JAPAC Ecosystem Partner of the Year, Ensign InfoSecurity took JAPAC Managed Security Services Partner of the Year, and Macnica was recognised as JAPAC Strategic Distribution Partner of the Year. Positka won JAPAC Velocity Partner of the Year, while SB C&S was named JAPAC Growth Partner of the Year.
Regional awards went to ACPL Systems in India, Ncubelab in South East and North Asia, and NTT Docomo Business in Japan. Individual honours went to Bhavesh Khola of ACPL Systems, Hisashi Kobayashi of NTT Data Japan Corporation, Lye KinWeng of UnThreats, and Yuichi Miyao of SB C&S.
Partner focus
The awards highlight the importance of partner networks to cyber security vendors in Asia Pacific and Japan, where customers often buy through distributors, resellers, systems integrators and managed service providers rather than directly from software companies. That model has become more important as organisations seek help integrating cloud, identity, endpoint and data security products, and as skills shortages push more work to outside specialists.
CrowdStrike has placed increasing emphasis on platform sales and managed services through partners, particularly as customers look to reduce the number of separate security products they use. The awards are intended to recognise organisations and individuals expanding their CrowdStrike offerings and managed services across the region.
For local winners, the results also reflect the role of Australia and New Zealand in the broader JAPAC cyber security market. Sekuro has built its profile around advisory and managed security services, while The Missing Link has long been a prominent player in cyber security integration and services in Australia.
Regional spread
The breadth of the winners list also points to the shape of CrowdStrike's regional business. Japan featured strongly, with Amazon Web Services Japan, Macnica, NTT Docomo Business, NTT Data Japan Corporation and SB C&S all recognised. India and South East Asia were also represented through ACPL Systems, Positka, Ensign InfoSecurity, UnThreats and Ncubelab.
That spread matters because buying patterns vary sharply across the region. In some markets, large distributors and telecom-linked providers dominate enterprise cyber security deals; in others, specialist consultancies and managed security providers play a larger role. Categories covering growth, velocity, distribution and managed services suggest CrowdStrike is supporting several go-to-market routes at once.
Jon Fox, Vice President of Channels and Alliances, Japan and Asia Pacific at CrowdStrike, framed the awards within that broader partner strategy.
"Throughout JAPAC, our partners are at the centre of the AI-driven shift towards platform-driven and services-led security," Fox said. "From expanding MSSP capabilities to helping organisations consolidate and strengthen their security with the Falcon platform, our partners are delivering the outcomes customers require to stay ahead of threats in the AI era. We're proud to recognise this year's award winners for the incredible impact they've delivered across the region in driving cybersecurity transformation and look forward to continuing to scale this momentum across our partner ecosystem in JAPAC."
The winners underscore how much of CrowdStrike's regional momentum depends on third-party firms that advise clients, resell software and run managed security operations on customers' behalf.
