Boost Mobile spotlights coverage, value in new AUD $300 plan

Thu, 17th Apr 2025

Boost Mobile has launched a new nationwide campaign aiming to challenge Australian consumers to consider network coverage when selecting their mobile provider.

The initiative, titled "Get On A Network That Cuts It", is intended to highlight Boost Mobile's coverage credentials, specifically its access to the full coverage of the Telstra Prepaid Mobile Network. The campaign will be visible across various digital, outdoor, and sponsorship channels, including motorsports and surfing.

This campaign continues Boost Mobile's established approach of delivering direct messages to the market, a practice the company has followed for 25 years. The campaign features the supporting message of "BIG coverage, MEGA value and EPIC 5G" and is set to reach audiences nationally through a comprehensive media presence.

Data from recently conducted independent research by Boost Mobile indicated that network consistency and reliability topped the list of consumer priorities when choosing a mobile provider, with value following closely behind. According to Boost Mobile, its network reaches 99.7% of the population, spanning 3 million square kilometres, which is over 1 million square kilometres more than what is covered by any other mobile network.

Bobby Geldens, Head of Boost Mobile Australia, said, "This campaign is proudly blunt and loud, reflecting both who we are as a brand and our passion to deliver the best coverage and value to prepaid consumers, something Boost Mobile has been doing for 25 years."

He added, "We are all about BIG coverage, MEGA value and EPIC 5G, and this campaign is both a challenge and an invitation to Australian consumers, to ask the question - Does Your Network Cut it?"

The campaign launch coincides with several recent industry accolades for Boost Mobile. The company was recognised in the WeMoney Telco and Broadband Awards, receiving the "Best for Quality – Prepaid Mobile Plans" and "Best Annual Prepaid Plan" prizes. The WeMoney judging panel noted Boost Mobile's network coverage, inclusions, and value in making its decision.

Dan Jovevski, Founder and CEO of WeMoney, said, "As Australians look towards the future and mobile phone services, Gen Z and Millennials are increasingly seeking better value alternatives without sacrificing service quality. We're thrilled to announce that Boost Mobile has won 'Best for Quality – Prepaid Mobile Plans' and 'Best Annual Prepaid Plan' for 2025. This award is a hallmark recognition for Australian consumers and these awards are very well deserved and a testament to Boost's outstanding offering."

Boost Mobile has also been acknowledged by Finder in its 2025 Customer Satisfaction Awards, being recognised as a 'Reliable Brand' in the mobile provider category. This recognition was based on data collected from hundreds of Australians about their satisfaction levels with their providers.

Currently, Boost Mobile's prepaid plans offer features such as big data allowances, no lock-in contracts, and flexible expiry options, including 7 day, 28 day, and 12 month plans. Among their offerings is a 12 month plan priced at AUD $300, equivalent to AUD $25 per month, providing customers with 290GB of data, unlimited calls and texts to national numbers, and unlimited standard international calls to 20 select countries for new activations by July 7.

The company's campaign rollout will utilise digital out-of-home, video-on-demand, social media, and sponsorships to reach potential customers across Australia. Boost Mobile continues to emphasise its commitment to providing wide-ranging coverage and value in the prepaid mobile market.
