11:11 Systems wins Great Place To Work certification

Thu, 11th Jun 2026 (Today)

11:11 Systems has been awarded Great Place To Work certification in Australia and four other countries, based on employee feedback.

In Australia, 95% of employees surveyed said 11:11 Systems is a great place to work, according to figures released by the company. That is 35 points above the average reported for Australian companies.

The certification also applies in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and India. Great Place To Work, which assesses workplace culture through employee responses, said the award is based on real-time feedback from current staff.

Australian responses showed strong results for trust and workplace relationships. All respondents agreed that management is honest and ethical in its business practices, that colleagues care about each other, and that they feel they can make a difference.

The announcement comes as employers in technology and cyber security continue to compete for skilled workers in Australia. Workplace culture has become a more important factor in attracting and retaining staff as shortages in cyber and cloud roles persist.

Employee focus

Management linked the result to internal policies on flexibility, career development and wellbeing. It also highlighted community programmes including Volunteer Time Off, which gives eligible employees up to 16 paid hours each year to support recognised charities.

Another initiative, Eleveneers Give Back, allows staff around the world to nominate and vote for organisations they want to support. Those efforts have contributed to causes including food access, youth programmes, medical research and environmental work.

Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Vice President, Global Recognition, Great Place To Work, described the standard required for the award.

"Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience," said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Vice President, Global Recognition, Great Place To Work.

She said the process is based on direct employee views of company culture.

"By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that 11:11 Systems stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees," said Lewis-Kulin.

For 11:11 Systems, the certification provides an external benchmark for its workplace practices across several markets. The company operates as a managed infrastructure provider spanning cloud, cyber security and support for critical applications and data.

Brett Diamond, Chief Executive Officer, said the award reflected the culture built by employees.

"Achieving Great Place To Work Certification is a tremendous honour and a testament to the exceptional culture our team has cultivated at 11:11 Systems," said Brett Diamond, Chief Executive Officer, 11:11 Systems.

"We are committed to fostering an environment where our people feel supported, valued and empowered to excel. This recognition reflects the dedication our employees show every day, supporting one another and delivering outstanding results for our customers around the world," said Diamond.

Wider labour market

The result comes amid sustained hiring pressure in digital infrastructure, cloud computing and cyber security. Employers across Australia face a limited supply of experienced workers in these areas, prompting many to place greater emphasis on retention, internal development and non-pay factors such as flexibility and workplace experience.

That has made independent workplace rankings and certifications more visible in recruitment efforts, particularly among technology companies trying to stand out in a crowded labour market. Employee sentiment measures are also being watched more closely by management teams looking for early signs of turnover risk.

Emily Cole, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, said the recognition reflected the company's approach across its international workforce.

"This recognition confirms how our diversity - across countries, cultures and communities - brings us together more than it sets us apart," said Emily Cole, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, 11:11 Systems.

"Being Great Place To Work Certified validates 11:11's commitment to caring for people in ways that are practical, visible and values-driven, and is an honor that every Eleveneer has earned together," said Cole.
