Synnex inks BenQ distribution deal

Synnex has gained Australian and New Zealand distribution rights for BenQ's digital lifestyle offerings.

The Taiwanese company has a wide range of products covering the home, gaming, business and education markets. Its offerings include projectors, monitors, digital signage and speakers.

Martin Moelle, BenQ Australia managing director, says the deal will utilise Synnex's vast distribution network to accelerate BenQ's market penetration.

He says the company's customer base is growing rapidly across Australia and New Zealand.

“BenQ's distribution agreement with Synnex ANZ brings together two leading companies, combines the strengths of our joint solutions and delivers the benefits of the collaboration to a customer base that is rapidly growing across Australia and New Zealand,” Moelle says.

“We are pleased to extend our reach to both existing and new customers, and to further cement our leadership position in product design and innovation.

The distribution deal is a ‘significant' expansion for BenQ across

Kee Ong, Synnex Australia and New Zealand chief executive, adds: “We look forward to strengthening BenQ's position in the country through our industry experience and our established distribution network.

Earlier this year BenQ won a Computex Best Choice Award for its treVolo, which it says is the world's first portable electrostatic speaker.
