Surveil appoints Peter Turpin as new Chief Executive Officer

Today

Peter Turpin has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Surveil, a SaaS platform focussed on cloud efficiency and profitability.

Mr. Turpin, a veteran in the SaaS industry, will assume the role effective 6 January 2025, succeeding Neil May. Mr. May, meanwhile, will transition to the position of Chief Commercial Officer as the company continues to expand.

Surveil has reported substantial growth over the past year. The company expanded its operations into the US market, doubled its global partner network, and increased its workforce by 35%. As the firm anticipates an additional 25% growth in its staff over the next six months, it remains a significant player in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, managing USD $2 billion in annual subscription revenue from Microsoft 365 and Azure, and supporting 160,000 companies globally.

Peter Turpin's extensive career includes twelve years at Snow Software, where he significantly contributed to the company's growth first in the UK and then in the US, establishing Snow as a prominent software asset management provider.

"Peter is a highly accomplished leader in cloud licensing and software asset management but also a passionate advocate for customer-centric innovation," stated Neil May. "His vision aligns perfectly with Surveil's commitment to delivering high-impact results for our customers. I am excited to collaborate with Peter as we continue to enhance our capabilities and drive digital transformation in the AI era for millions of businesses worldwide."

Expressing his enthusiasm for joining Surveil, Mr. Turpin said, "I am honoured to join Surveil as CEO at such an exciting time. Surveil has already made remarkable strides delivering in-depth insights to our partners and customers seeking to optimise their cloud infrastructure investments. I'm eager to build on this momentum. My focus will be on driving growth, fostering innovation, and ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional value to our clients. I look forward to collaborating with the exceptionally talented team at Surveil to shape the future and achieve even greater success together."

Harold Groothedde, the Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Surveil, commented on the new appointment: "Peter's appointment marks a pivotal moment for Surveil. His extensive experience and strategic vision, particularly in major markets like the U.S., will further drive our growth and innovation beyond the remarkable progress we have achieved under Neil's leadership. We are confident that under Peter's guidance, Surveil will continue to be the cloud insights platform of choice, delivering unparalleled value and building even greater trust with our customers. We are excited to welcome Peter and look forward to the exciting journey ahead."

This leadership change signifies a major milestone for Surveil as it seeks to progress further in its growth trajectory. With a strong focus on enhancing cloud efficiency and profitability, the company is committed to empowering businesses to achieve quicker and more significant outcomes.
