Sony unveils WF-C710N earbuds with advanced features

Sony Electronics has announced the release of its new WF-C710N Truly Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds, featuring advanced noise cancellation and longer battery life.

The WF-C710N earbuds come equipped with dual microphones that detect surrounding noise, complemented by Sony's Dual Noise Sensor technology. This allows them to effectively filter exterior sounds, offering an uninterrupted music experience. In addition, the earbuds support Ambient Sound mode, which captures ambient noise to provide a seamless listening experience, while simultaneously allowing the user to remain aware of their surroundings.

The earbuds are designed to be comfortable for all-day use, offering up to 30 hours of listening time with the charging case when fully charged. Additionally, quick charging capabilities provide an extra 60 minutes of playtime with a mere five minutes of charging. The earbuds also incorporate AI-based machine learning technology to enhance call clarity in noisy environments, utilising over 500 million voice samples to suppress ambient noise effectively.

Sound quality has not been compromised, as the WF-C710N utilises a 5 mm driver alongside Sony's Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) for well-balanced audio tuning. Users can further customise their listening experience through the EQ Custom feature available via the Sony Sound Connect app.

Other features of the WF-C710N include Touch Control for easy operation of music and calls, as well as additional functionalities such as Instant Pause/Play, Quick Access, and Continuous Volume Control. The earbuds are IPX4 water resistant, catering to those who use their devices on the go.

Sony has also placed a focus on environmentally friendly packaging for the WF-C710N, ensuring it is entirely plastic-free.

The new earbuds are being offered in four stylish colour options: Glass Blue, Pink, White, and Black. They are priced at AUD $189.95 and are available for pre-order now.

In addition to the launch of the WF-C710N, Sony Electronics has introduced new colour options for two of its existing headphone models: the WH-CH720N and the WH-CH520. The WH-CH720N Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones are now available in pastel pink, alongside their existing colour range, priced at AUD $259.95.

The WH-CH520 Wireless Headphones have also been updated with new colour choices, now available in both pastel pink and yellow. These are available for purchase at a price of AUD $99.95.
