Segway-Ninebot has unveiled its latest electric scooter, the ZT3 Pro, marking a significant advancement in the company's range of mobility solutions. The new scooter, catered to both urban and off-road use, combines advanced smart technology with robust all-terrain capabilities.

The ZT3 Pro has been designed to handle a variety of environments, featuring a full-suspension frame with a telescopic front fork and rear swingarm coil-suspension. It offers 152 millimetres of ground clearance and is equipped with 11-inch all-terrain tubeless tyres. Powered by a 1600-watt high-torque brushless motor, the scooter can reach speeds of up to 25 km/h and can manage slopes of up to 25 percent.

Gino Casha, Head of Segway-Ninebot Australia, commented on the release: "The ZT3 Pro represents a significant step forward in our commitment to innovation and user experience. We believe this scooter will not only meet the demands of urban commuters but also cater to adventure enthusiasts looking for an eKickScooter that excels in all-terrains."

Segway's RideyLong range optimisation technology enables the ZT3 Pro to achieve up to 70 kilometres on a single charge in Eco Mode and 50 kilometres in Sport Mode. Safety features have also been integrated into the design, with the Segride Stability Enhancement System working in tandem with the Traction Control System (TCS) to provide enhanced control and grip, reducing handlebar shake and wheel slip.

A 3-inch hexagonal LCD display offers real-time updates on speed, charge, mode, and other important status indicators, remaining visible even in direct sunlight. The scooter's lighting system includes a 4-watt front light, front and rear indicators, and a signature 'X' symbol daytime running light, ensuring visibility during night rides.

Advanced smart features also form a notable portion of the ZT3 Pro's capabilities. The AirLock System, when paired with the Segway-Ninebot app, allows for autonomous locking and unlocking of the scooter. The upgraded battery management system, BMS 2.0, includes three new layers of protection and a Flash Charge Technology that enables a full charge in just four hours. Integration with Apple's Find My service simplifies tracking, allowing users to locate their scooter easily in case of theft.

Durability and rigorous testing are focal points for the ZT3 Pro. The scooter has undergone extensive quality tests, including 5,000 kilometres of human-piloted road tests and over 180 quality checks. The high-strength steel-tube frame can withstand a 700-kilogram static pressure, and the body has an IPX5 waterproof rating.

The ZT3 Pro includes several key specifications: front and rear suspension, 152mm ground clearance, 11-inch tubeless tyres, a 1600w motor, RideyLong range optimisation, a maximum speed of 25km/h, a maximum slope angle of 25%, a 3-inch LCD display, Segride Stability Enhancement System, TCS, BMS 2.0, Flash Charge, AirLock, Apple Find My compatibility, IPX5 waterproof rating, a weight of 29.7kg, and a payload capability of 120kg.
