Pacific Tech inks Menlo isolation platform distie deal for Singapore and Brunei

01 Aug 2017

Pacific Tech has inked a distribution deal with Menlo Security which will see it distributing the vendor’s Isolation Platform across Singapore and Brunei.

The Menlo Security Isolation Platform executes web content, email links and documents in the cloud removing the possibility of malware reaching end user devices.

Andy Woo, Pacific Tech regional director, says isolation technology is currently ‘red-hot’ in the wake of high profile global malware attacks and growing recognition of remote browsers as a security solution.

“Pacific Tech identified Menlo for its innovative technology and leading edge security solution that protects against advanced threats from the internet,” Woo says.

“Menlo has an experienced and aggressive team and we are looking forward to working with them – as well as sharing our expertise and experience.”

Stephanie Boo, Menlo Security Asia Pacific managing director, says Asia Pacific hosts an intense concentration of high value global business activity and companies are under growing pressure from highly targeted spear phishing attacks.

“That is why we see such potential for our cloud-based isolation service in Singapore and Brunei,” Boo says.

She says Pacific Tech was chosen on the strength of its extensive experience and knowledge of the market.
