Ketan Tailor appointed as Barracuda's Chief Customer Officer

Barracuda has announced the appointment of Ketan Tailor as Chief Customer Officer to enhance customer experience initiatives in the wake of its accelerating cybersecurity platform growth.

The appointment introduces Ketan Tailor as a key figure in Barracuda's leadership team, bringing over 20 years of experience in directing customer-centric organisations. Hatem Naguib, Chief Executive Officer at Barracuda, expressed confidence in Tailor's expertise and leadership. "Ketan is a dynamic and visionary leader with a proven track record of building world-class, customer-centric organizations that fuel growth, foster innovation and cultivate long-term loyalty," Naguib stated. He highlighted Tailor's proficiency in areas such as customer success and support, and scaling global operations as vital to Barracuda's expansion strategy. "His deep expertise in customer success, support and scaling global operations will be pivotal as we enter our next phase of growth. Ketan's leadership will ensure that we not only meet the evolving needs of our customers but also continue to exceed their expectations, delivering exceptional value as we expand our global reach."

Tailor's previous role was as Vice President of Global Support at Ping Identity, where he contributed significantly to transforming the support function into a profitable entity. His work included steering post-merger integration efforts and advancing customer satisfaction through tiered service offerings catering to diverse customer needs. Tailor's leadership in making support operations a high-growth revenue engine is noted as part of his critical experience.

Prior to his role at Ping Identity, Tailor held the position of Vice President of Customer Success and Support at xMatters, playing a strategic role through its acquisition by Everbridge. There, he implemented a comprehensive customer journey framework and developed predictive customer health scoring. These efforts formed part of the strategies he led to encourage customer advocacy and satisfaction.

Earlier in his career, Tailor was instrumental at Sophos, where he directed support operations across the Americas. His initiatives there focused on enhancing operational efficiency and building scalable support teams, ultimately improving service delivery and reducing response times.

Commenting on his new position, Ketan Tailor shared his enthusiasm about joining Barracuda.
