Ericsson names Cook head of global channels for enterprise 5G
Ericsson has announced the appointment of Matt Cook as the new Head of Global Channels for its Enterprise Wireless Solutions division.
This role comes in the wake of Ericsson's push towards enterprise-driven 5G network adoption.
Cook will be responsible for overseeing global channel and distribution initiatives aimed at supporting Ericsson's recent investments and acquisitions in the enterprise sector. These efforts are expected to enhance the value offered to the enterprise market.

Ericsson has recently outlined its strategy to offer a comprehensive and secure wireless platform for enterprise customers looking to adopt and scale cellular technology. This will provide customers with the ability to deploy and manage various solutions in Ericsson's Enterprise Wireless portfolio, including Enterprise 5G, Wireless WAN, and SASE, through NetCloud Manager, a comprehensive cloud management and orchestration platform.
Channel partners globally will be able to take advantage of a complementary portfolio of solutions tailored to meet enterprises' needs in cellular technology adoption.
Matt Cook's career includes a wide range of leadership roles in commercial sales, global channel, and carrier sales. He has previously worked at CommVault, Armor Cloud, Ciena, and Cisco, where he successfully fostered strong partner ecosystems and executed go-to-market strategies that drove growth in both established and emerging markets.
