Change ahead for Zebra partner program
Zebra Technologies is launching a new channel partner program it says will create a more inclusive ecosystem addressing the needs of distributors, resellers, system integrators and independent software vendors.
The new program – which doesn't kick off until January 2016 – brings together 'the best' of Zebra's PartnersFirst and PartnerEmpower programs.
The company provides a range of products and services that provide real-time visibility into organisatons' assets, people and transactions.
Eileen Eck, Zebra Technologies vice president of global channel strategy, marketing and operations, says the vendor is 'more committed to the channel than ever before'.
"Our new program will provide expanded resources and capabilities, demonstrating the strength of our business and how we are better together.
Eck says the program will be closely aligned with the vendor's vision of creating a smarter, more connected global business community.
"We will work with our partners to help them differentiate themselves, better serve our end users and seize the opportunities presented by enterprise asset intelligence," Eck says.
The new program will simplify pricing to drive competitive advantage and profitable opportunities and offer a consistent global framework with regional flexibility to address local market differences, Zebra says.
Partners who demonstrate competencies to address changing market needs and trends to better serve customers will receive 'differentiated engagement and support'.
Zebra says it will provide training, education and incentives to partners that deepen their skills, enhance their ability to deliver innovation and serve as consultative channel partners to mutual customers.
