Belinda Shaw appointed as new CFO for global leader TEG

Belinda Shaw, an executive with over 25 years of experience across a diverse range of industries, has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for TEG, a global leader in Live Entertainment, Ticketing and Technology. This announcement came as she replaces Sandra Rouse, the long-serving CFO who held the position for 13 years.

Rouse, who has played a significant role in the growth of TEG, will remain within the organisation with continued reporting into TEG Group CEO Geoff Jones. Moreover, she is committed to ensuring a smooth transition in handing over her role's responsibilities to Shaw.

Shaw’s impressive career has seen her take senior roles within large corporations, leading both global and regional teams across Asia, Europe, the USA, and Australia. She most recently served as the CFO at Boral, Australia’s largest vertically-integrated construction materials company. Prior to Boral, Shaw was the Acting CFO at Sydney Airport, and held Senior Executive roles at General Electric (GE) as the CFO of ANZ and PNG regions, CFO Global Mining, and CFO Global Locomotive.

In her new role, Shaw will be a crucial asset to TEG's portfolio of live entertainment businesses, by providing strategic direction and development. TEG is confident she will be an instrumental force in planning and growing the company.

TEG Group CEO Geoff Jones expressed his enthusiasm for the appointment, stating "We are delighted to have an executive of Belinda’s calibre join TEG as our Chief Financial Officer." Jones highlighted Shaw's proven track record with global brands across local and international markets, stating that her "in-depth knowledge and experience will be key to the role as we continue to drive growth." Jones also took the opportunity to pay tribute to Sandra Rouse's enormous contribution to the company over the past 13 years. Commenting on her role in the company's growth, managing changes in ownership, weathering a pandemic, and steering acquisitions in multiple countries, he said, "I feel privileged to have had Sandra on the team and have the utmost respect for her commitment, leadership, and contributions at TEG." Rouse is set to continue playing a vital role within TEG, moving into a new position focusing on strategy, M&A, and operations within the business.

Belinda Shaw's new role as Chief Financial Officer for TEG begins on 22 July 2024.
