Barco revamps service program for ANZ partners & customers
Barco has revamped its service program for its Australia and New Zealand partners and customers, supporting the major expansion of its business to support hardware, software, services, and experiences.
The company, which traditionally focused on hardware, pivoted last year with the aim of boosting its offerings and its presence on the global and local stage. The company offers a range of solutions including video walls, collaboration hardware, medical platforms, and many other products and solutions.
Barco's Australia and New Zealand managing director Claudio Cardile says customer needs are a core focus in everything the company does.
"First, we start by building high-quality, reliable hardware and innovative software solutions. We will now take this a step further with a revised strategic service framework, which we call Enable – Protect - Optimise.
This framework will direct Barco's long term strategic objectives, which include boosting more recurring revenues and more investment in innovation.
Cardile says that service is a critical part of the company's long term strategic objective.
"Stronger service offerings will also yield more recurring revenues for Barco's partners and allow us to grow future investments in innovations. However, the Enable – Protect - Optimise framework is a global Barco-wide services offering that will contribute to partner service excellence, drives customer satisfaction and ensure we are firing on all cylinders ultimately enabling the brightest outcomes for both our partners and end customers."
The Enable pillar of the framework is designed to provide a smooth experience from the first moment of interaction, through to installation and deployment.
The Protect pillar comprises the Protect program and an EssentialCare support package for hardware and software. Barco aims to maximise uptime and extend the lifetime of Barco product.
The Optimise pillar comprises the Optimise service packages, which are designed to guarantee optimal use of Barco solutions across adoption, customer success, and managed services.
Barco has also launched the Barco Management Suite, which is available in a free and premium version. The free version of the Management Suite is available with Barco's devices. The premium version can be acquired with a service contract for advanced functionality.
In 2020, Barco realised sales of 770 million euro. The company, which is headquartered in Belgium, includes a global team of 3,300 employees who deliver solutions across three key areas: enterprise, entertainment, and healthcare. The company also holds 430 granted patents.
The company aims to enable "all parts of the corporate chain, from people to operational excellence, with the aim of strengthening its global presence, technology leadership, and footprint in core markets".
