Dimension Data, Data#3, Infront Systems and Telstra were among the winners at EMC's 2015 Asia Pacific and Japan Business Partner Awards.
The Australian Partners received their awards at EMC's 2016 Global Partner Summit at EMC World in Las Vegas earlier this month.
Dimension Data was the big winner on the night, with the company's Australian business claiming the Asia Pacific and Japan Converged Infrastructure Partner of the Year 2015 award, while Dimension Data's Asia Pacific operations scooped up both the APJ Cloud Service Provider Growth Partner of the Year award and the VNX Partner of the Year award.
Telstra scored the top award for Asia Pacific and Japan Cloud Service Provider Partner of the Year, while Data#3 was named APJ Services Partner of the Year and Infront Systems took out the Asia Pacific and Japan ExtremIO Partner of the Year 2015.
EMC says the award winners were selected ‘from across the length and breadth of the storage channel ecosystem'.
The awards recognise EMC Partners across Asia Pacific and Japan who exceed growth expectations and demonstrate a commitment to excellence through innovation and thought leadership, along with a commitment to EMC and proven ability to add value to EMC's information infrastructure offerings and extend the vendor's market reach.
David Webster, EMC president for Asia Pacific and Japan, says the winners of the Business Partner Program Awards have achieved ‘exceptional' outcomes in APJ.
“With EMC Asia Pacific and Japan Business Partner Awards 2015, we wanted to recognise the success and achievements of our channel partners in improving customers' businesses and modernising their data centers,” Webster says.
EMC says 17 out of 66 winners in the global Business Partner Program Awards came from Asia Pacific and Japan.
New Zealand's Sempre Technologies was named APJ New Solution Provider Partner of the Year.
