Xiaomi launches POCO F6 series in Australia with advanced features

Xiaomi has announced the launch of its new POCO F6 series in Australia. This development marks an expansion of the company’s presence in the country, as it aims to provide Australians with advanced technology at accessible prices.

The series is fully compatible with Australian 4G and 5G networks, and comes with a two-year local warranty.

The POCO F6 series is positioned as an ideal choice for budget-conscious gamers, photography enthusiasts, and tech enthusiasts seeking flagship experiences. The series includes two main models, the POCO F6 Pro and the POCO F6. Both devices feature cutting-edge hardware designed to enhance performance.

The POCO F6 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It boasts a 6.67-inch WQHD+ 120Hz Flow AMOLED display with ultra-thin bezels, providing users with an immersive visual experience. It also comes with advanced camera systems, including Dual Native ISO Fusion technology and Burst Shot Mode 2.0, designed to capture high-quality images even in complex lighting conditions. Additionally, the POCO F6 Pro offers a 5000mAh battery for extended use and comes in Black and White colour options at a price of AUD $999.00.

The POCO F6, on the other hand, focuses on gaming performance with the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It features the WildBoost Optimization 3.0 and LiquidCool Technology 4.0 to enhance the gaming experience. The new CrystalRes display provides a 6.67-inch Flow AMOLED DotDisplay with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2400 nits, delivering vivid colours and high-definition quality. The display is designed for comfortable and lengthy viewing, certified as flicker-free and circadian-friendly by TV Rheinland.

For photography, the POCO F6 is equipped with a 50MP triple camera setup and includes Motion Tracking Focus 2.0 for detailed shots. It also supports stable photos and 4K video recording at 60 FPS. This model is available in Black, Green, and Titanium colours and also houses a 5000mAh battery. The POCO F6 is available for AUD $699.00.
