Webroot has launched a free, self-paced certification program for its SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection, saying the program will enable resellers and MSPs to improve revenue and strengthen profitability.

The security and threat intelligence vendor says the program enables sales and technical teams at managed service providers, value added resellers and other distributor partners to better sell and support the SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection, as well as streamline and enhance their IT services business.

Shane Varcoe, Webroot APAC sales manager, says the certification program enables partners to gain a deeper understanding of Webroot's product offerings.

“It will give them both the confidence and credibility when dealing with their customers,” Varcoe says.

“Partners will find they can become more self-sufficient with this certification, which will translate into better results and an increased bottom line.

The program includes two tracks – an ‘under one hour' track for sales professionals and an under two hour track for technicians, with both covering key security trends as well as Webroot's endpoint security offering.

Partners also gain access to additional tools and resources, including the Webroot IP test tool designed to help reduce troubleshooting time.

Partners with at least one employee certified on the sales side and one on the technical side will become Webroot Certified Partners.
