Managed cloud services provider UltraServe is serving up an new version of its SmartStack platform-as-a-service aimed at driving the offering into smaller enterprises and businesses, and says the new version also creates more channel opportunities.
Adam Chicktong, UltraServe general manager, says the hybris-based SmartStck for midmarket is tailored for medium-sized organisations, enabling them to deploy hybris commerce services at an affordable price point.
"This more modular version will support websites with 250,000 visitors a month, whereas our enterprise version started at 2.5 miilion a month," Chicktong says.
He says the company has more than halved the monthly cost for midmarket companies wanting to deploy hybris.
UltraServe says the new offering creates more channel opportunities for system integrators, developers and digital agencies, in providing customers with a turnkey solution.
Chris Thorp, SAP hybris director of channels, says SmartStack gives customers and system integration partners 'a reliable, reputable way to deliver a scalable hybris environment'.
Chicktong says the midmarket version provides all the functionality of the enterprise version, tailored for growing organisations.
He says the midmarket offering means the company no longer has to walk away from smaller scales.
As a result, UltraServe is expecting the offering to 'turbocharge' its export sales – which went from a standing start to 35% of sales in the past year on the back of the launch of SmartStack for enterprises.
