Tech Data Technology has inked an exclusive distribution deal to bring Informatica's full suite of data management products to market in New Zealand and Australia.

The deal covers cloud, big data, internet of things, master data management, data governnance, data integration, data quality and data security solutions and is the first distribution deal for Informatica across ANZ.

Winston Wong, Tech Data Technology Solutions Australia and New Zealand director of cloud and strategic growth, says the deal will enable the distributor to further enable partners to drive innovation and new growth opportunities.

The two companies are forming an advisory council to assist partners to uncover new opportunities as part of the new collaboration.

“With the substantial growth in data volumes, its movement into the cloud and growing demand of business data users, data management is quickly becoming integral to the strategies of organisations of all types and sizes,” Technology Solutions says.
