Steve Nadin has joined Brainstorm as a Functional Consultant.

Steve Nadin, originally from Nottingham, England, relocated to Australia in 1991 and has since cultivated a diverse career in supply chain management and consulting. He brings extensive experience to Brainstorm, having started his professional journey at Boots the Chemists, a significant UK retailer and manufacturer, where he spent 14 years working in Accounting, Logistics, and Supply Chain roles.

Nadin's personal life highlights the importance of family, as he mentions, "My family means the world to me, and it's been a beautiful journey blending our lives together. We have a large, vibrant family, and I'm excited about welcoming our newest grandchild next year." Steve, with his ex-wife, has four children and 11 grandchildren, with a new addition expected in February 2025. He has recently married his partner of nine years, who also has her own extended family.

In Australia, Steve Nadin achieved notable success in operational and supply chain management before initiating his own business improvement consultancy in 2011. However, the COVID-19 pandemic affected his business, prompting Nadin to adapt to new roles. By 2021, he took up a position at SMC as a Senior Consultant, focusing on operational enhancement and digital transformation. His performance led to his advancement to Consulting Manager in 2023, where he was instrumental in improving client operations.

During the CEMAT exhibition in 2024, Steve Nadin encountered Brainstorm and decided to join them, drawn by their growth and potential. "Meeting with Evelyn at the CEMAT exhibition was a turning point for me," he explains. "Brainstorm's vision and the direction it's headed in really sparked my interest. It's a company that's truly on the rise, and I knew I wanted to be a part of that."

Now, at Brainstorm, Nadin is looking to leverage his extensive background in supply chain management to contribute effectively as a Functional Consultant. Nadin expressed enthusiasm about his evolving role and the road ahead at Brainstorm, viewing it as an opportunity to aid in continuing the company's development.

Reflecting on his career, Steve Nadin recounts significant achievements, including developing a US distribution network for an Australian celebrity chef and overseeing the establishment of a 28,000 square metre warehouse in Melbourne. Nadin notes, "I'm particularly proud of the Melbourne warehouse project. It was a massive undertaking, but it came together seamlessly. To see everything work out exactly as planned was incredibly rewarding."

Steve Nadin's future at Brainstorm appears promising, with mutual excitement from the team about his joining. Brainstorm specialises in assisting distribution and manufacturing businesses in efficiently managing their ERP technology and aiding scaling businesses in software system integration.
