SAP 'simplifies' business for partners with SAP-hosted Business One
Thu, 12th Nov 2015
FYI, this story is more than a year old

SAP says it is simplifying business opportunities for partners with a new deployment offering for its Business One software.

The vendor is introducing an SAP-hosted option to run the Business One software on the Hana platform for small and medium sized businesses.

The offering will be available first in North America, rolling out to Europe and Asia Pacific in 2016.

Partners will have three deployment options for the subscription-based offering of SAP Business One Cloud: to run in a partner's private hosted cloud, in a cloud infrastructure hosted by a third party or in data centers run by SAP.

The new services offering for deploying SAP Business One Cloud comes with a range of complementary services, including backup and restore, disaster recovery and platform maintenance.

The vendor says offering the opportunity to have the solution hosted in SAP data centers will help facilitate the move to the cloud.

Luis Murguia, senior vice president and general manager of SAP Business One, says the company ‘felt compelled' to offer partners the option to run the Business One application in the cloud.

“This provides an end-to-end SAP-branded experience that is simple to use, is cost-effective, and leverages the capabilities of SAP Hana.
